March 30, 2015Gulf Aluminium Rolling Mill Company (GARMCO), the Bahrain-based international aluminium rolling mill and one of the largest downstream aluminium facilities in the Middle East, today held a ceremony at its headquarters in honour of employees for achievements made over the course of the past year and in recognition of the long-standing service of a number of retiring employees.For outstanding performance in 2014, the work of 14 employees was highlighted at the event. These individuals are: Hussain Ghuloom, Abbas Rustam, Nader Mukhtar, Mirza Makki, Ali A,Ghani, Fadhel Ishaq, S. Mohammed Hussain, Osama Al Aswad, Ahmed Al Khal, Abdulla Khalil, Mohammed Nasser, S. Mahmood Jalal, Riyadh Marhoon and Sameer Salman. In addition, the Company awarded 10 employees who have successfully passed the ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Training and Mr. Khalid Alsaei who recently received his Master’s degree in Business Administration from De Paul University, Chicago in which his studies were sponsored by GARMCO.Importantly, the ceremony also recognized the hard work and contributions of 12 long-standing retiring employees.Commenting, Mr. Fahad Albasam, HR Manager at GARMCO, said: “We are delighted to announce the outstanding performance, ongoing development and achievements of our employees.
