Sawsan Abualhasan currently holds the position of an Executive Director at Al-Bustani Group, one of the top Food Wholesale Companies in Bahrain with access to supplies Worldwide.  Sawsan also is a Group Finance Advisor for AlHassanain BSC (Closed) a contracting company specialized in Infrastructure and Marine Work.  Sawsan Abulhassan is an independent Director at Benefit (since March 2021) and a Board Member at Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Since March 2022).

Sawsan Abualhasan has 23 years banking experience in Private Banking and Wealth Management.  She worked at Ahli United Bank for 14 years with 7 years as a Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer – Private Banking and Wealth Management.  She was a Board Director of Ahli Untied Bank PLC, UK, Director, Securities & Investment Company (SICO) Bahrain, Director, The Family Bank, Bahrain in addition to Director on a number of Investment Funds.  Previously with Citibank N.A. Bahrain, Resident Vice President; Wealth Management and Distribution; and Head of Wealth Management, Standard Chartered Bank, Bahrain.

Sawsan Holds an MBA with major Finance (with high Distinction) and a B.S.C in Management from University of Bahrain.
