Today, GARMCO is recognised for high quality commodity flat-rolled aluminium products manufactured using the Direct Chill Casting (DC) since this method provides for a more stable and homogenised controlled property. Products are available in a wide range of gauges, sizes, alloys and tempers.
With stringent environmental regulations enforced at every step of the production process, GARMCO boasts an annual production capacity of 165,000 tonnes — satisfying some of the toughest international requirements when it comes to producing a variety of alloys and tempers that are designed as per customer requirements.
Currently, cold-rolled coil sheet are produced for a wide range of applications in a variety of 1000, 3000, 5000 and 8000 series alloys in gauges from 0.2 to 3.2 millimetres, and up to 1,560 millimetres wide.
